Des Moines, Iowa - The Des Moines Social Club (DMSC) is proud to present Gay In The Gateway (GITG) 2009 set for Saturday, October 3rd in the Western Gateway Park District 3-11pm (13th Street between Grand & Locust) in beautiful downtown Des Moines! This is a family friendly community event for all ages!.....don't forget your lawnchair!

Highlights include:
- Acro-cats featuring "The Rock Cats" is returning from Chicago for 2 shows at DMSC (12pm & 4pm)....YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS GREAT SHOW!
- DMSC Black Box Theater Production "Gaggle of Saints" @ 2pm "Two college students off to a bash in Manhattan find themselves inextricably linked to a wedding proposal, a beautiful dress, and the murder of a homosexual out for a stroll in Central Park" - Directed by Zachary Mannheimer
- Live Music acts singer songwriter Seth Glier (Boston), Indie Guitarist Emily White (Chicago) plus more musicians set to perform!
- Flying Pig Barn Dancing @ DMSC 8pm-11pm
- After Hours Club featuring DJ Kelix Williams Midnight - 4am @ DMSC!
- Vendors fees are $50 (For-Profit) / FREE (Non-Profit), plus $25 for electrical needs. All vendors must supply their own set-up for their 10X10 spot.
- All types of vendors are welcome to participate! Artists! Food! Community Groups! ....reserve your spot before Oct. 1st
- $5 GITG street party (includes 1 beer ticket) / $3 (no beer ticket). Kids 12 and under are FREE!
