Dear Friends of the Project,
Spring is here, and the AIDS Project of Central Iowa's AIDS Walk/Run is
two weeks away! We have had amazing success with this event in the
past eight years and we are once again looking to our supporters for
your involvement. We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 18th at
Des Moines University, 3440 Grand Ave. Both the walk and run start at
10:00 am. Participants have the choice of entering the 5K run or the
one-mile walk. Remember to register early to ensure an event shirt in
your size.
The success of the Walk/Run directly affects the Project's mission of
assisting people living with HIV to achieve the highest quality of
life available and preventing future infections in our community. We
encourage participants to collect contributions from family, friends,
co-workers and neighbors. The involvement of the community is critical
to the success of the Project's mission. You can register, as well as
make donations, with the enclosed entry form or at our website:
