Corridor Pride Patio Party – A Fundraiser for Flood Relief

Join the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids Pride for appetizers and a cash bar as we officially kick off Iowa City Pride! Enjoy downtown Iowa City at its summer finest. The Sheraton Patio overlooks the Ped Mall and we will be rocking to the Recliners and the Awful Purdies as part of the Friday Night concert series. This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Corridor Pride: Parade and Rally

Parade starts at College Green Park Iowa City, corner of College & Washington Sts.
Floats, musicians, roller skates and candy -- who could say no to that? -- everyone is little Gay on Pride day! Everyone is welcome to march or just come and spectate on the 100 block of Washington Street or the 100 S. Dubuque Street. The parade will end in a rally on the Pentacrest in front of the Old Capitol with music and rousing speakers. A festival will follow in City Park. Corridor Pride: Pride in the Park, Family Style

Shaved ice, food, vendors, games, and music. We will be near the swimming pool so bring your suits or just cool off in the shade of the beautiful oak trees. A children’s game area provided. Music by local and national entertainers. Bring your own lawn chairs. Come out and enjoy food and fellowship with the community! Free. Everyone is welcome!
